You are a recent high school graduate or someone looking to start your career in production technology. You thrive in hands-on environments and enjoy working with mechanical and electrical components. You are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic setting, contributing to innovative projects like the Starlink satellite constellation.
You possess a strong attention to detail and are capable of following complex instructions to assemble various components. You are comfortable operating automated equipment and have a basic understanding of troubleshooting processes. You are motivated by the challenge of building something from scratch and are excited about the prospect of contributing to SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.
What you'll do
As an Entry Level Production Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components of gateways, subassemblies, and final vehicle integrations. You will build small electrical sub-assemblies and wire harnesses, integrating PCB assemblies into product chassis. Your role will also involve supporting conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and coating processes. You will operate complex automated equipment, troubleshooting and maintaining it as needed. Additionally, you will conduct functional testing of hardware, including setup, instrumentation, test execution, and teardown, while setting up tests to support thermal, shock, thermal vacuum, and vibration regimes. You will prioritize schedules and work independently to meet company deliverables.
