You are comfortable writing unit, integration, and load tests to ensure the reliability of your code, and you actively participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.

You are well-versed in AWS technologies and have hands-on experience with tools such as Kinesis, Airflow, Spark, Lambda, Flink, and Athena. Your knowledge extends to various databases, including ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Timestream, and Snowflake, allowing you to choose the right tools for the job. You are committed to improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes within your team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Desirable

Experience with real-time data processing and familiarity with event-driven architectures would be a plus. You understand the importance of monitoring and improving database and pipeline performance, and you are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies as they emerge in the field.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the data products you develop meet the needs of both internal stakeholders and external customers.

You will monitor and improve the performance of databases and data pipelines, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Writing unit, integration, and load tests will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will participating in code reviews to uphold the quality of the codebase. You will also write and review technical proposals, contributing to the overall technical direction of the team.

As part of our you-build-it-you-run-it culture, you will support the pipelines in production, including participating in an on-call rotation. This hands-on approach ensures that you remain engaged with the systems you build and allows you to quickly address any issues that arise in production.
