Your experience with REST APIs and data management tools equips you to tackle challenges related to data silos and enhance the overall data experience for users. What you'll do
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the Data Experience for Spotify's Backstage Portal, an internal developer portal used by organizations worldwide. You will be responsible for building connectors, APIs, and user interfaces that enable data platform teams to reduce toil and improve data accessibility. Your work will directly impact how data is ingested and surfaced in Backstageβs Software Catalog, making it easier for teams to collaborate and find the datasets they need.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the architecture and product direction, ensuring that the solutions you build align with the overall mission of the Backstage Portal. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold best practices within the engineering team. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
