You'll maintain and upgrade the codebase for automated trading strategies and manage large datasets. This role requires a degree in a technical field and proficiency in programming languages.

Who you are
You are a highly motivated graduate or early career professional with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another STEM field. You have programming proficiency in at least one major language such as C++, Java, or Python, and possess great attention to detail. Your strong communication skills enable you to work effectively with colleagues across multiple regions, and you thrive under pressure.
You may have knowledge of Q/KDB+ and familiarity with Linux and Bash, which would be advantageous in this role. Your advanced quantitative skills will help you analyze data effectively and contribute to the firm's trading strategies.
What you'll do
As a Desk Quant Analyst, you will spend three years working closely with experienced Quantitative Researchers and Traders to understand the evolving needs of the trading desks. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and upgrading the codebase and configuration of strategies within the firm’s automated trading framework. You will manage large datasets used in both research and production environments, performing live and historical monitoring of trading activities.
Before market open, you will ensure that all required data and related processes are ready for the trading day. During market hours, you will monitor the behavior and performance of strategies sporadically. You will also work on various longer-term projects aimed at expanding the firm's systematic trading activities and ensuring their robustness. At the end of the program, there is an opportunity to secure a Junior position in Quantitative Development or Quantitative Research, subject to individual performance.
