Who you are

You are a seasoned Information Security professional with a strong background in network, cloud, and system security — your expertise allows you to effectively analyze complex security problems and provide expert guidance to enhance security measures. You have a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities and implementing robust security solutions, ensuring that security requirements are met across various IT projects.

With a minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, you have a proven track record of managing security tools and optimizing their deployment — your familiarity with regulatory frameworks and security standards, such as GDPR and SEC Cybersecurity rules, positions you as a valuable asset to the team. You possess relevant security certifications that demonstrate your commitment to maintaining high security standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead security initiatives and shape the security roadmap for Squarepoint Capital — your responsibilities will include overseeing security in critical IT projects and conducting thorough threat modeling for complex systems. You will act as an escalation point for the Security Operations team, providing second-line support and ensuring that security gaps are identified and addressed promptly.

You will manage and optimize security tools, ensuring they are effectively deployed and maintained — your role will also involve auditing key systems for security vulnerabilities and driving proactive mitigation strategies. By building automated capabilities, you will continuously validate the effectiveness of security controls and enhance system resilience.
