Who you are

You have 4+ years of experience in JavaScript development, demonstrating a strong understanding of new ES6 concepts and proficiency in frameworks like React or Angular. Your knowledge of the DOM, HTML5 constructs, and CSS3 allows you to create engaging user experiences that meet the needs of a growing product landscape.

You possess a basic understanding of Java or similar Object Oriented Languages, which complements your frontend skills and enhances your ability to collaborate with backend teams. You practice disciplined software engineering, including automated testing and code reviews, ensuring that your code is not only functional but also beautiful and readable.

With a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience, you bring a solid educational background to your role. Your strong sense of ownership and accountability drives you to deliver high-quality work that aligns with Squarespace’s mission of empowering customers' digital presence.

What you'll do

In this role, you will help build and redesign user experiences to support the evolving needs of Squarespace's Domains and Email products. You will participate in high-impact projects that shape the future of domain products, working closely with senior engineers to lead well-scoped frontend projects.

You will focus on architecting new products and expanding the feature set for one of the largest domain registrars in the world. Your contributions will be critical to ensuring the performance and long-term scalability of the components you develop, impacting millions of digital identities.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work alongside a talented team of engineers, learning from their expertise while also sharing your own insights. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of frontend projects, guiding them from conception through to implementation.
