Test Automation Engineer • Lead

Who you are

You have a strong background in software testing with at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation. Your expertise includes defining and implementing test strategies that ensure high-quality software delivery. You are proficient in Java and familiar with testing frameworks like JUnit and Selenium, which you have used to create automated test suites across various levels of the stack.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure that testable requirements are defined early in the development cycle. Your proactive approach allows you to identify quality risks and edge cases before they reach customers, making you a key advocate for quality in a fast-moving, customer-centric setting.

You have experience improving CI/CD testing infrastructure, ensuring fast and reliable feedback loops for development teams. Your ability to investigate, triage, and verify complex bugs and quality issues is complemented by your strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Desirable

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus, as is experience with performance testing and load testing tools. You are also comfortable working in hybrid environments, balancing remote work with in-office collaboration.

What you'll do

In this role, you will define, implement, and own test strategies for high-impact features across domain search, purchase, and management flows. You will develop and maintain automated test suites that cover unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, ensuring that all aspects of the software are thoroughly validated.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure that requirements are clear and testable, identifying potential edge cases early in the development process. Your role will involve investigating and verifying complex bugs reported by customers or internal teams, ensuring that quality issues are addressed promptly.

You will also drive quality-related initiatives, advocating for best practices in test architecture and observability. Your contributions will help shape the testing culture within the Domains organization, promoting a mindset of quality and reliability across all teams.
