Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in quality assurance and engineering, with hands-on experience in testing cloud-native systems. Your expertise includes validating integration points and API-level functionality, ensuring that services work seamlessly together. You understand the importance of performance and reliability in distributed systems, and you are skilled at diagnosing complex failures using logs and telemetry.
You are familiar with automated testing frameworks and have experience implementing quality controls that validate core user journeys and non-functional characteristics of platforms. Your knowledge of asynchronous and event-driven workflows allows you to effectively test systems under various conditions, including load and failure scenarios.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product owners and engineering teams to understand upcoming changes and integrations. Your proactive approach ensures that the platform is validated under realistic scenarios before release, contributing to a high-quality user experience.
Desirable
Experience with Azure Service Bus or similar messaging systems is a plus, as is familiarity with performance testing tools. You may also have a background in software development, which enhances your understanding of the systems you are testing.
