Who you are
You have a strong background in quality assurance and testing automation — you've implemented testing frameworks that improve developer experience and ensure high-quality software delivery. Your experience with CI/CD pipelines means you understand how to integrate testing into the development lifecycle seamlessly.
You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript — you can write scripts to automate testing processes and improve efficiency. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify areas for improvement in testing practices and advocate for best practices within the team.
You thrive in a collaborative environment — you enjoy working closely with product engineers to help them author tests that meet quality standards. Your communication skills enable you to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
You are passionate about customer-centricity — you understand the importance of delivering high-quality products that meet user needs and expectations. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends in testing and automation.
Desirable

What you'll do
As a Quality Platform Engineer at TheyDo, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the quality assurance processes through automation. You will work closely with product engineers to ensure they can deploy with confidence, making testing and releasing fast, reliable, and painless. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks that support various testing levels, from unit tests to end-to-end tests.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs and create comprehensive test plans that align with product goals. Your role will involve analyzing test results, identifying defects, and working with engineers to resolve issues promptly. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices and advocate for quality standards across the organization.
In addition, you will participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing strategies and practices. Your insights will help shape the testing culture within the team, ensuring that quality is a shared responsibility among all engineers.
