StarCompliance is hiring a Principal Architect Engineering Lead to shape architectural direction and lead the Architecture engineering team. This role requires strong technical authority and collaborative leadership skills.

You are an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in technical architecture and decision-making at scale. You possess a service mindset and a collaborative approach, enabling you to effectively lead teams and influence outcomes across the organization. Your expertise allows you to blend hands-on architectural depth with organizational leadership, ensuring that systems are scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective. You have a proven track record of managing teams and navigating complex stakeholder inputs, building trust and credibility with senior engineers and leaders.
You thrive in environments where clear communication is valued, and you challenge ideas constructively. Your ability to take ownership of systems and outcomes is critical to your success in this role. You are comfortable chairing forums and setting architectural direction, guiding your team towards achieving high-quality services and system designs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a lead role within the Architecture engineering team at StarCompliance. You will set the architectural direction and chair the Architecture Forum, ensuring that all systems meet the highest standards of scalability, resilience, security, and cost-effectiveness. You will manage two Principal Architect Engineers, providing guidance and support as they navigate their own projects and challenges. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping how teams work together and how systems evolve within the organization.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, security, and operations leaders to align architectural goals with business objectives. Your strong technical authority will enable you to influence decisions and drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of services provided to global clients. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging your team to innovate and excel in their roles.
