G2i Inc. is hiring an Engineering Leader to set technical direction and build a high-performing team. You'll work with React, Node.js, and Docker to guide architecture and delivery across modern full-stack systems. This position requires 7+ years of software development experience, including leadership roles.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 7+ years of experience building software, with a strong background in full-stack development using React and Node.js. Your leadership experience spans 2-4 years in roles such as Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or Head of Engineering, where you've successfully guided teams to deliver high-quality software. You possess a deep understanding of modern front-end patterns, server-side rendering, and API design, allowing you to make informed architectural decisions that enhance performance and user experience.
You are passionate about building a culture of ownership and continuous improvement within your team. Your experience includes establishing engineering standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and security, ensuring that your team adheres to best practices while delivering features at a high velocity. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering closely with Product and Design teams to align technical strategy with business goals.
What you'll do
As an Engineering Leader at G2i, you will set and evolve the technical strategy for our developer platforms and internal tooling. You will lead and grow an engineering team, focusing on hiring, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-performing culture. Your responsibilities will include driving architecture decisions across front-end and back-end systems, ensuring that we maintain predictable execution and strong incident management practices.
You will establish engineering standards that promote code quality and operational excellence, while also owning the delivery health of your team. This includes managing sprint hygiene and ensuring that your team is equipped to handle on-call responsibilities effectively. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products by leveraging your expertise in modern technologies and best practices.
