Job Description
Who you are
You have a solid background in full stack development, with experience in both Java and TypeScript — you've built and maintained scalable applications that serve business needs effectively. Your understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, allows you to enhance and maintain services that are critical to operations. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital solutions.
You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving — whether it's enhancing existing systems or integrating new features, you approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset. Your experience with integration services for accounting and finance means you understand the importance of accuracy and efficiency in these processes. You are also comfortable working with AI technologies, contributing to the enhancement of internal support systems.
You value diversity and inclusivity in the workplace, and you appreciate a culture that celebrates different perspectives. You are eager to contribute to a team that is focused on modernizing legacy systems and shaping a subscription-based business model. Your adaptability and willingness to learn will help you thrive in Statista's dynamic environment.
Desirable
Experience with SaaS platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with tools like Salesforce and SAP. If you have worked in a fast-paced environment where you had to juggle multiple priorities, you will find yourself well-prepared for this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support and maintain existing business services, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. You will enhance the internal AI agent for Product Services, which is crucial for the internal support team. Your responsibilities will also include operating and maintaining integration services for Accounting and Finance, ensuring that these systems are reliable and effective.
You will work on enhancing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services like S3, Lambda, and ECS to support the company's digital transformation. Collaborating with engineers, product experts, and business stakeholders will be a key part of your job, as you work to deliver seamless, end-to-end digital sales and billing processes.
Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise within the systems you manage, as well as implementing new features that improve functionality and user experience. You will also participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions about system improvements and new technologies that could benefit the organization.
What we offer
Statista provides a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth and development. You will be part of an international team that values collaboration and innovation. The company offers various benefits, including subsidized urban mobility and access to fitness and wellness options. You will have the chance to participate in social events that foster team bonding and a sense of community.
We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement. At Statista, we believe that your story matters, and we are excited to see how you can contribute to our mission of empowering people worldwide to make fact-based decisions.
