Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building secure and scalable systems. Your expertise in authentication and authorization systems is complemented by your ability to lead teams effectively. You enjoy coding and are comfortable spending half of your time directly contributing to the codebase while guiding your team towards technical excellence. You understand the importance of user trust and security in application development, and you are passionate about creating seamless user experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments and have a track record of working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Desirable

Experience with identity management solutions and familiarity with multi-factor authentication systems would be a plus. You are also knowledgeable about modern web standards and best practices in security. If you have worked in the fitness or health tech industry, that would be an added advantage.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for Strava's Identity team, you will own the technical roadmap for the identity platform, focusing on sign-up and login flows, password management, and account recovery processes. You will design and implement systems that enhance user experience while ensuring robust security measures are in place. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create a unified identity experience across iOS, Android, and web platforms. You will lead technical discussions and make architectural decisions that align with Strava's mission to motivate people to live their best active lives. You will also mentor and develop your team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
