Strava is hiring an Engineering Manager for their Comms and Experimentation Platform team. You'll be responsible for building and leading the team, managing technical delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills.

You have a proven track record of building and leading engineering teams, with a focus on creating a positive team culture and effective processes. Your experience includes solving complex technical challenges and shaping the technical direction of projects. You excel at managing cross-functional relationships and understand the importance of collaboration in achieving project goals. You are passionate about motivating your team and helping them grow in their careers. You have a strong understanding of platform strategy and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote work effectively.
Desirable
Experience in building communication platforms or experimentation infrastructure is a plus. Familiarity with revenue-generating work for marketing and product teams will help you succeed in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies as needed.
What you'll do
As the Engineering Manager for the Comms and Experimentation Platform team, you will establish a new platform team from the ground up, including hiring and defining team culture and processes. You will be responsible for setting and executing the platform strategy, ensuring that the team is aligned with Strava's mission to motivate people to live their best active lives. You will solve complex technical and scaling challenges as you shape the technical direction for the comms and experimentation infrastructure at Strava. Your role will directly enable revenue-generating work for the Marketing and Product teams, making your contributions vital to the company's success. You will partner with coworkers across functions, including MarTech, Product, and Data Platform, to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
