You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and automation. You are comfortable being the primary DevOps person in a small team and have a proven track record of creating standards and improving developer experience. Your expertise in Google Cloud allows you to effectively manage cloud resources and ensure compliance with security standards.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with product and internal tooling engineers to create consistent and reliable environments. Your ability to automate repetitive tasks not only enhances efficiency but also empowers your team to focus on more strategic initiatives. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of security and compliance in the development process.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Sydecar, you will take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is robust, secure, and scalable. You will collaborate with product and internal tooling engineers to streamline development processes and enhance the overall developer experience. Your role will involve setting standards for infrastructure management and automating workflows to reduce manual overhead.

You will act as the main contact with Google Cloud, leveraging your expertise to optimize our cloud resources and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our development teams, allowing them to focus on building innovative solutions for private markets.

In addition to managing cloud infrastructure, you will also be responsible for implementing CI/CD pipelines that facilitate rapid deployment and testing of our applications. Your ability to automate processes will help us maintain high levels of quality and reliability in our software releases.
