You are pursuing or hold a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, or a related field, showcasing a strong analytical and quantitative background. Your knowledge of financial derivatives, particularly in the realm of crypto and trading, sets you apart as a candidate eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced startup environment. You are adaptable and willing to iterate on your work, thriving in a collaborative atmosphere where innovation is key. Candidates from top IITs will be preferred, reflecting the high standards of our team.
What you'll do
As a Quantitative Intern at Syndr, you will assist in developing, testing, and optimizing trading strategies using both real-time and historical market data. Your role will involve conducting data analysis, building models, and supporting research for derivatives pricing, risk, and performance. You will collaborate closely with engineering and research teams to validate and backtest quantitative models, ensuring their effectiveness in real-world applications. Additionally, you will research and interpret complex financial instruments, especially in crypto options, futures, and perpetuals, helping the team analyze user behavior, market structure, and liquidity data. Staying up to date with crypto markets, DeFi trends, and algorithmic trading techniques will be essential to your success in this role.
