Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in programmatic advertising with at least 5 years of experience in yield optimization and monetization strategies. Your deep hands-on experience with Prebid.js wrapper and header bidding allows you to act as a subject matter expert in high-impact yield initiatives. You possess advanced expertise in Google Ad Manager (GAM), including setup, optimization, and troubleshooting, which enables you to drive significant revenue impact through effective ad management.
Your technical skills include a strong command of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, which you leverage to implement scalable solutions and debug complex ad-tech issues using browser developer tools. You have a proven track record of analyzing ad performance metrics and driving yield optimization, demonstrating your ability to make data-driven decisions that enhance revenue.
You understand the intricacies of programmatic advertising, including OpenRTB and first-price bidding, and you are familiar with SEO fundamentals and audit tools. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring that all yield initiatives are executed smoothly. You also have a strong leadership mindset, capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster their growth.
Desirable
While not required, experience with Prebid Server and working directly with leading SSPs such as Index, OpenX, PubMatic, Rubicon, and Xandr would be advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with analytics tools like Prebid Analytics, Looker Studio, and BigQuery would further enhance your ability to drive performance improvements.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the execution of yield initiatives that have a proven revenue impact, such as ABP Whitelisting and Header Bidding Optimization. You will perform advanced analysis for Google Discover traffic drops and recommend optimizations to improve performance. Your expertise will be crucial in continuously adopting new strategies to drive yield optimization and enhance the overall effectiveness of Taboola's advertising solutions.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams to implement scalable solutions that align with the company's strategic goals. Your ability to analyze ad performance metrics will be key in identifying areas for improvement and driving actionable insights that lead to increased revenue. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills in yield management and programmatic advertising.
