Job Description
Who you are
You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with the biggest customers in the region. You are comfortable engaging with C-level executives, including CIOs and CISOs, and can articulate the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. Your strong team mentality means you understand that selling is a team sport, and you excel at managing and utilizing virtual resources to tackle large sales cycles. You have a proven track record of exceeding quotas and are adept at nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory.
You are skilled in maintaining excellent Salesforce hygiene and accurately forecasting sales activities. Your experience includes conducting online webinars and in-person presentations to generate qualified leads, showcasing your ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. You thrive in environments where collaboration is key, and you are committed to delivering a superior customer experience.
Desirable
Experience with the Tanium platform or similar enterprise software solutions is a plus. You are familiar with the complexities of the sales cycle in the technology sector and have a deep understanding of how to position solutions effectively to meet customer needs. Your ability to work closely with partner and marketing teams to define and support prospecting efforts will set you apart.
What you'll do
As the Director of Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. Your role will involve nurturing and developing relationships within your territory, presenting to the C-suite the value of the Tanium platform. You will work collaboratively with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts, ensuring a healthy pipeline management.
You will generate appropriate sales development activity and conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads. Your ability to forecast accurately and maintain excellent Salesforce hygiene will be crucial to your success. You will travel as needed to meet with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that you are always in touch with the market and customer needs.
