Overview

Tanium is hiring a Director of Strategic Accounts to lead enterprise sales efforts in Houston. You'll be responsible for generating opportunities and managing complex sales cycles. This role requires significant experience in enterprise software sales.

Who you are

You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with major customers in your region. You are comfortable engaging with high-level decision-makers, including CIOs and CISOs, and can articulate the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. You thrive in a team-oriented environment, understanding that selling is a collaborative effort that requires managing and utilizing virtual resources effectively. You have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving superior customer experiences.

What you'll do

As the Director of Strategic Accounts at Tanium, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. Your role will involve nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory, presenting to the C-suite the value of the Tanium platform. You will work closely with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts, ensuring healthy pipeline management through appropriate sales development activities. Additionally, you will conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads and maintain excellent SFDC hygiene for accurate forecasting.
