Tanium is hiring a Director of Strategic Accounts to drive sales and customer relationships within assigned territories. You'll engage with C-suite executives and manage complex sales cycles. This role requires significant enterprise software sales experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with major customers in your region. You are comfortable engaging with C-level executives, including CIOs and CISOs, and can articulate the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. Your proven track record of exceeding quotas demonstrates your ability to drive a superior customer experience. You thrive in a team-oriented environment, understanding that selling is a collaborative effort that requires managing and utilizing virtual resources effectively.
You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to nurture and develop relationships within your assigned territory and accounts. You are adept at presenting to diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership, ensuring that the value of the Tanium platform is clearly understood. Your experience includes maintaining excellent sales pipeline management and accurately forecasting sales activities, which is crucial for success in this role.
What you'll do
As the Director of Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. Your role will involve nurturing relationships within your territory, presenting to C-suite executives, and collaborating with partner and marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts.
You will generate appropriate sales development activity to ensure healthy pipeline management and conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads. Travel may be required as needed to meet with clients and prospects. Your ability to forecast accurately and maintain excellent SFDC hygiene will be essential for tracking your sales activities and ensuring success in your role.
