Overview
Tecovas is seeking a Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service and support the store leadership team. You'll engage with customers, manage stock, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This role requires strong selling skills and a proactive work ethic.
Job Description
Who you are
You have exceptional selling skills and a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring that every customer has a positive experience in the store. Your organizational skills and attention to detail help maintain an efficient and well-organized stockroom, making it easy for employees to access products. You are independent and proactive, driven by results, and you embody the utmost character, honesty, and transparency in all your interactions. You are at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma, ready to engage with customers and support the store team.
What you'll do
As a Sales Associate at Tecovas, you will greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the perfect products, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. You will support the store team by receiving shipments and preparing products for display on the sales floor, contributing to a well-stocked and inviting environment. You will communicate effectively with the leadership team regarding in-transit shipments, helping to keep everyone informed and organized. Your role will also involve maintaining the stockroom, ensuring that it is accessible and well-organized for your colleagues. You will assist in the restock process, ensuring that the sales floor is always well-stocked and visually appealing. Additionally, you will demonstrate loss prevention awareness by participating in cycle counts and transfers, helping to protect the store's assets. You will engage in ongoing staff education, sharing your product knowledge with your teammates to enhance their selling skills and customer interactions.
