Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in business applications engineering, particularly with ERP systems. Your expertise includes developing and customizing solutions that enhance business processes and improve operational efficiency. You are proficient in SuiteScript and have a solid understanding of REST APIs, SQL, and JavaScript, which you have used to automate and optimize workflows. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that drive business growth. You are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, allowing you to tackle complex challenges effectively. You are also adaptable and open to learning new technologies as needed to meet the evolving demands of the business.

Desirable

Experience with NetSuite is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud-native platforms. You may also have knowledge of machine learning and big data technologies, which can enhance your contributions to the team. A background in the automotive industry could be beneficial, given Tekion's focus on automotive retail solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing solutions within Tekion's ERP ecosystem. You will develop, test, and maintain custom scripts using SuiteScript 2.0, and where necessary, SuiteScript 1.0, to automate processes and extend system capabilities. You will build and optimize SuiteFlows, RESTlets, and SuiteTalk APIs to facilitate seamless integration and data flow across various business functions. Collaborating with teams across Finance, Operations, and Business Applications, you will create scalable and automated solutions that support Tekion's rapid growth. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise, providing support to users, and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement in existing systems and processes.
