Telesat is hiring an Antenna and UT System Engineer to design and deploy satellite antennas and user terminals for the Telesat Lightspeed Constellation network. This role requires expertise in modem integration and terminal architecture.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong engineering background with expertise in the design and deployment of satellite antennas and user terminals. Your experience includes analyzing terminal antenna options and integrating modems to support both fixed and mobile applications. You are skilled in leading technical relationships with antenna suppliers and participating in design reviews and validation tests.
You understand the complexities of satellite communications and are familiar with the latest technologies in the field. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the complete analysis of terminal antenna options and modem integration for the Telesat Lightspeed Constellation network. You will provide technical inputs for deployment and portfolio development, ensuring that the solutions are robust and reliable. You will lead technical relationships with antenna suppliers, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.
You will participate in design reviews and validation tests, ensuring that all components meet the required specifications and performance standards.
