Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in antenna systems engineering, particularly in phased array systems. Your experience includes designing and implementing calibration systems, as well as performance analysis and design trade-off studies. You are proficient in programming with modern languages such as Python, C++, and Java, which you have used to develop algorithms and processes for antenna calibration. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance systems. You understand the complexities of RF and digital systems and can effectively communicate technical concepts to team members.
Desirable
Experience with simulation and modeling tools for baseband and RF systems is a plus. Familiarity with lab measurement techniques and validation processes for antenna performance will enhance your contributions to the team. A background in satellite communications or broadband technologies would be beneficial, as would any experience with optimization algorithms.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for key aspects of phased array antenna system design, simulation, measurement, calibration, and optimization. You will design and implement phased array calibration systems, focusing on signals processing and algorithms. Your work will involve performance analysis and conducting design trade-off studies to ensure optimal system functionality. You will engage in end-to-end modeling, simulation, and analysis of baseband, RF, and antenna systems, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. Additionally, you will conduct lab measurements and validate the performance of antennas and phased array systems, collaborating closely with antenna, modem, RF, and digital teams to fine-tune radio designs.
