Who you are
You are a seasoned UI/UX Design Engineer with a strong background in leading design processes from concept to execution. You have a proven track record of creating intuitive and beautiful interfaces that enhance user experience. Your creativity and systems mindset allow you to elevate design details such as motion and accessibility, ensuring that the design system scales effectively.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, engineers, and AI/ML teams to translate complex problems into clear design solutions. You are passionate about setting standards for user experience and have the drive to own the design engineering process end-to-end. Your experience in building design systems and AI-assisted workflows positions you as a leader in the field.
What you'll do
As the Founding Product Designer at Tempo, you will own the end-to-end UI design process, starting from concept development through to wireframes and final production-ready components. You will set the standard for how users experience Tempo, shaping our component library and interaction patterns. Your role will involve collaborating directly with cross-functional teams to ensure that the design aligns with product goals and user needs.
You will be responsible for driving the vision of design at Tempo, rolling up your sleeves to deliver high-quality design outputs while also mentoring junior designers. Your leadership will help guide the team in creating a platform that merges design with engineering rigor, ultimately enhancing the productivity of product teams.
