You have a strong background in compliance and accounting, with experience managing compliance and external filings related to healthcare regulations. You understand the complexities of federal and state open payments transparency reporting and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to financial documentation. Your ability to collaborate with internal partners, such as legal teams, and external consultants is essential for success in this role.
You are familiar with the healthcare industry and the importance of precision medicine, which drives your passion for advancing healthcare through compliance. You have experience preparing internal reports related to healthcare professional audits and reviews, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely. Your strong organizational skills allow you to manage multiple compliance tasks effectively, from property tax returns to regulatory filings.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage compliance and external filings related to federal and state open payments transparency reporting for covered recipients and the Sunshine Act for physician payments. You will be responsible for preparing internal reporting related to healthcare professional audits and reviews, assisting the accounting leadership team with federal and state tax return work paper preparation, and reviewing expense reports to ensure compliance with internal policies.
You will collaborate with internal partners, including legal teams, and coordinate with external tax consultants and vendors to ensure all compliance requirements are met. Your role will also involve assisting the accounting team with the month-end close process as time permits, performing research on compliance-related issues, and ensuring that all documentation adheres to legal and ethical standards.
