What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with the Clinical and Research Labs leadership and Supply Chain to develop and manage costs, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. You will conduct detailed variance analysis to monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Your responsibilities will include preparing and presenting financial performance reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior leadership. You will ensure accurate reporting of lab-related expenses and capital expenditures, collaborating with lab operations to analyze cost structures and resource allocation.

You will play a critical role in supporting operational decisions by providing financial insights that align with the strategic goals of Tempus. Your ability to communicate complex financial information clearly will be essential in fostering collaboration among teams. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards in financial reporting and analysis. This position requires you to be present in the Chicago office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, allowing you to engage directly with your colleagues and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
