Who you are

You have a strong clinical and scientific background in oncology and genomic testing — your expertise allows you to effectively communicate complex information to healthcare providers and engage with key opinion leaders in the field. Your excellent communication skills enable you to educate others about Tempus assays and technologies, ensuring that critical insights are shared effectively. You are passionate about precision medicine and understand the impact of AI on clinical care, making you a valuable asset in advancing healthcare initiatives.

You have experience in a field-based role, demonstrating your ability to work independently while collaborating with strategic account managers and other stakeholders. Your proactive approach allows you to seek out opportunities for incorporating Tempus assays into high-impact external research, including collaborations with cooperative group trials and pharmaceutical trials. You are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards while handling sensitive information, including intellectual property and protected health information.

What you'll do

In this role, you will provide medical support to strategic account managers, ensuring successful management of research discussions and the intake of study concepts for potential collaborations. You will engage academic KOLs and investigators in oncology to work on collaborative external research with Tempus, including investigator-initiated trials and assay grants for biobank samples. Your responsibilities will include proactively seeking opportunities for incorporating Tempus assays into high-impact external research, collaborating with cooperative group trials and pharmaceutical trials to enhance the impact of Tempus technologies.

You will be responsible for educating healthcare providers about the benefits and applications of Tempus assays, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed decisions about patient care. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the oncology community, facilitating discussions that lead to meaningful collaborations and research initiatives. You will also be expected to stay updated on advancements in precision medicine and genomic testing, ensuring that your knowledge remains current and relevant.
