You have a Master's degree with at least 2+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with at least 3+ years of experience in a molecular lab. You are highly organized and systematic, with a keen attention to detail that ensures precision in your work. Your background in molecular techniques equips you to contribute effectively to the development of cutting-edge molecular assays. You understand the importance of intellectual property, trade secrets, and protected health information, and you handle such information in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the development of molecular assays for Tempus' high-throughput CAP/CLIA/NYSDOH accredited clinical lab. Under the guidance of senior scientific staff, you will design and execute molecular protocols with a high degree of precision. You will also support multidisciplinary teams by generating datasets that are crucial for building new assay features and analysis algorithms. Your responsibilities will include generating detailed documentation of experimental execution, assisting in troubleshooting and quality control initiatives, and contributing to the development of automated processes. You will identify and implement improvements to existing processes, ensuring that the lab operates efficiently and effectively.
