You hold a Ph.D. and have over 3 years of industry experience in a relevant field, showcasing strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. Your interpersonal skills enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing scientific leadership and guidance. You have a keen attention to detail, ensuring that all experimental methodologies are documented thoroughly and accurately. Your ingenuity and creativity shine through in the design of studies and experiments, allowing you to tackle complex challenges in precision medicine.
What you'll do
As a Senior Research Scientist at Tempus, you will be responsible for hands-on assay development for cutting-edge molecular assays and next-generation sequencing workflows. You will design and execute research and development-related experiments with a high degree of precision, analyzing data and evaluating results to form conclusions and implement improvements. Your role will also involve designing and executing reagent and equipment qualification and validation studies, ensuring that all activities align with project critical paths. You will train and supervise junior scientific staff, fostering their growth and development while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
