Who you are
You are a highly experienced Principal Scientist with a strong background in precision medicine and a passion for advancing healthcare through innovative technologies. With extensive experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and other molecular techniques, you have a proven track record of driving early-stage technology feasibility initiatives. You are adept at exploring and assessing emerging molecular chemistries and applications, and you possess a deep understanding of various instrumentation and detection platforms.
Your expertise in bioinformatics allows you to effectively interface with data teams, building workflows that facilitate the development of AI applications. You are skilled in handling complex data sets, including medical, genomic, and multiomic data, and you understand the importance of adhering to legal and ethical standards when managing sensitive information.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working independently as a high-level contributor. Your ability to evaluate multiomic technologies in areas such as proteomics and metabolomics sets you apart as a leader in your field. You are committed to delivering actionable insights that improve clinical care and patient outcomes.
Desirable
Experience with intellectual property and trade secrets is a plus, as is familiarity with the legal aspects of handling protected health information.
