What you'll do

As a Principal Scientist at Tempus, you will spearhead early-stage feasibility initiatives for assay and device technologies. Your role will involve conducting front-end technical evaluations and driving the early development of assets within Tempus's product portfolio. You will assess a broad range of instrumentation and detection platforms, ensuring that the technologies align with the company's mission to enhance clinical care.

You will collaborate closely with bioinformatics and data teams to develop workflows that facilitate the integration of AI applications into clinical practice. Your work will focus on the exploration and assessment of molecular techniques, contributing to the evaluation of multiomic technologies in areas such as proteomics and metabolomics. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards regarding intellectual property and protected health information.
