You have extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the field of precision medicine and molecular biology. With a strong background in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and other molecular techniques, you are well-versed in the latest advancements in assay and device technology. Your expertise allows you to evaluate emerging molecular chemistries and applications effectively, contributing to the development of innovative solutions in healthcare.
You possess a deep understanding of bioinformatics and its applications in clinical care. Your ability to interface with data teams enables you to build workflows that leverage complex datasets, including medical, genomic, and multiomic data. You are committed to advancing the healthcare industry through the integration of AI and real-world evidence, ensuring that physicians have access to actionable insights for patient care.
What you'll do
As a Principal Scientist at Tempus, you will spearhead early-stage feasibility initiatives for assay and device technologies. Your role will involve conducting front-end technical evaluations and driving the early development of assets within Tempus's product portfolio. You will assess a broad range of instrumentation and detection platforms, ensuring that the technologies align with the company's mission to enhance clinical care.
