What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Tenable, you will play a crucial role in the development of the Agentic AI Platform, which serves as the orchestration layer for autonomous agents. You will design and implement distributed systems that enable these agents to reason, plan, and execute complex security workflows across the Exposure Management ecosystem. Your hands-on approach will ensure that you are deeply involved in the coding and architectural decisions that shape the platform.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include writing high-quality code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers to foster their growth. You will also be involved in performance tuning and optimization of the systems you build, ensuring they meet the high standards expected in the cybersecurity industry.
