Who you are
You have experience in a leadership role within a production environment, ideally in the cannabis or food industry. You understand the importance of quality and compliance, and you are committed to providing safe and effective products for consumers. Your strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence allow you to navigate diverse team dynamics effectively.
You are detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, from filling out logs to preparing the packaging area for shifts. Your ability to communicate clearly and motivate your team is essential in ensuring that production schedules are met on time.
What you'll do
As the Packaging Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the packaging process of manufactured cannabis products. You will lead a team of Packaging Associates, ensuring that all operations adhere to TerrAscend's quality standards and state regulations. Your role will involve coordinating daily activities, tracking production logs, and preparing the packaging area for each shift.
You will work closely with the Lab Manager to execute production schedules and maintain a safe working environment. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative team atmosphere where each member feels valued and empowered to contribute to the company's mission.
