Rams Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a strong background in RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) engineering, with experience in performing Fault Tree Analyses and FMECA (Failure Modes Effect and Criticality Analysis). Your expertise allows you to generate Technical Recommendations and RAMS requirements that support the design of complex systems.

You are familiar with safety activities, including hazard analyses during ground operations, space operations, and re-entry and recovery phases. You understand compliance with FSOA and ESA Space Debris Mitigation requirements, ensuring that safety is prioritized in all projects.

Your analytical skills enable you to perform trade-offs and redundancy optimization studies in coordination with subsystem teams. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with other engineering disciplines to achieve project goals.

You possess a proactive approach to reliability prediction analysis, effectively allocating reliability requirements to subsystems. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure that all engineering activities meet the highest standards.

What you'll do

As a Future Projects RAMS Engineer, you will be responsible for leading RAMS activities for various future projects, including launch systems, lunar landers, and LEO servicers. You will perform and maintain Fault Tree Analyses and FMECA to support the design process, generating Technical Recommendations and RAMS requirements.

You will conduct safety activities, performing hazard analyses to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Your role will involve collaborating with subsystem teams to perform trade-offs and redundancy optimization studies, ensuring that all systems are designed with reliability and safety in mind.

You will also be responsible for maintaining reliability prediction analyses, flowing allocations to subsystems and ensuring that all engineering activities align with the overall project objectives. Your contributions will be vital in preparing the future growth of the Nyx vehicles family.
