Who you are

You have extensive experience in developing automated test software applications, particularly in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) environments. Your background includes designing and implementing test automation frameworks that validate electronics at various levels, from individual boards to full subsystems. You are proficient in LabVIEW and have experience with NI VeriStand, allowing you to create robust testing solutions tailored to specific scenarios.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with electrical, avionics, and system engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software into functional test platforms. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges in test execution, data acquisition, and automated reporting. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards in technical documentation, including architecture specifications.

What you'll do

As a Senior HIL/EGSE Test Applications Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of test automation software for board-level, equipment-level, and subsystem-level testing. You will define and implement hardware and software architectures tailored to specific test scenarios and HiL environments, ensuring that all components work together effectively.

You will develop LabVIEW-based applications for both desktop and real-time platforms, such as PXI and cRIO, integrating and configuring NI VeriStand as part of real-time test setups. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to support test execution, data acquisition, logging, and automated reporting, ensuring that all testing processes are efficient and effective.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support the testing framework and processes. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping the future of Nyx, the modular and reusable space orbital vehicle, as you help validate its electronics and systems.
