What you'll do

As a Senior Flight Software Engineer at Turion Space, you will take ownership of critical flight software solutions for spacecraft and satellite systems. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing software that controls and manages spacecraft operations. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, and mission operations teams to ensure seamless communication and functionality across disciplines. You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate flight software functionality, ensuring it meets all specifications. Additionally, you will write simulation code and perform integration and system-level testing to guarantee the reliability of the software. Your role will also involve preparing and maintaining detailed documentation for flight software, including design specifications and user manuals. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing new software standards and best practices, ensuring that your team remains at the forefront of technology in the aerospace industry.
