You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on cloud environments and on-premise solutions. Your hands-on experience with AWS and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes has equipped you to design and implement scalable, secure systems that support mission-critical applications.

You possess a strategic mindset, capable of developing and guiding a comprehensive DevOps roadmap. Your expertise in networking solutions, including VPCs, routing, and firewalls, allows you to create complex infrastructures that are both resilient and efficient. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with development, security, and data teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer at Thndr, you will architect and maintain highly available infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments. You will lead the containerization and orchestration strategy using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring best practices for deployment, scaling, and security are followed. Your role will involve designing and managing complex networking solutions, including VPNs and load balancers, to facilitate hybrid cloud connectivity.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure, focusing on automation and testing to enhance deployment efficiency. Developing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terragrunt will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring modularity and version control in multi-region infrastructures. You will also implement monitoring and observability solutions to proactively detect and respond to issues across all infrastructure components.
