Your in-depth expertise in cloud platforms, particularly GCP, allows you to leverage serverless architectures and other cloud-native solutions effectively.

With a strong background in DevOps practices, you understand the importance of automation, security, and scalability in software delivery — you've led initiatives to improve CI/CD pipelines and have experience managing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Your ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues and perform root cause analysis is complemented by your drive to propose and execute optimization strategies that balance cost and performance.

You thrive in collaborative environments, providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers — your leadership fosters best practices in automation and infrastructure management across teams. You are passionate about driving the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps practices, ensuring that your team aligns with both business and technical objectives.

What you'll do

As a Senior Platform Engineer at ThoughtWorks, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure platform infrastructure — your primary focus will be on enhancing the Developer Experience by creating and improving tools, systems, and processes. You will architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automation and fast feedback loops that empower development teams.

Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex platform issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to maintain high availability and performance standards. You will manage and optimize containerized environments, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes to ensure efficient resource utilization.

In this role, you will drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, enabling scalable resource management and fostering a culture of automation within the organization. You will mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and understanding of best practices in platform engineering.
