You have extensive experience in data engineering, particularly with building and managing data pipelines that support business intelligence and reporting needs. Your expertise includes working with tools like Snowflake and dbt, and you are comfortable with both AWS and GCP environments. You understand the importance of data quality and have a strong background in ETL/ELT processes, ensuring that data flows seamlessly from source to destination.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with data analysts and other stakeholders to design and implement scalable, automated processes. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you enjoy tackling complex data challenges. You are also familiar with data visualization tools like Tableau and Looker, enabling you to create insightful dashboards that drive business decisions.

Desirable

Experience with Airflow for orchestrating data workflows is a plus, as is familiarity with other data integration tools like Stitch or Fivetran. You are always eager to learn new technologies and methodologies in the data engineering space, and you are passionate about leveraging data to drive business success.

What you'll do

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. You will also be involved in strategic discussions about the future of data at Tide, contributing your insights on best practices and emerging technologies.
