Your background includes working with tools like Snowflake and dbt, and you are comfortable with both AWS and GCP environments. You are proficient in ETL/ELT processes and have a strong grasp of data modeling and database design principles. Your experience includes using orchestration tools like Airflow to automate workflows and manage data pipelines efficiently. You are also familiar with visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker, enabling you to present data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders. You are passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions and are always looking for ways to improve processes and enhance data accessibility.

Desirable

Experience with additional data tools and platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with data governance and compliance standards. You may have worked in fast-paced environments where you had to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines that support various business functions at Tide. You will collaborate with data analysts to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions. Your work will involve designing, developing, and implementing scalable and automated processes that ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

You will leverage your expertise in Snowflake and dbt to build robust data models and transformations that facilitate reporting and analytics. Additionally, you will utilize Airflow to orchestrate data workflows, ensuring that data is processed efficiently and reliably. Your role will also include monitoring data pipelines for performance and reliability, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and implementing improvements to enhance data processing capabilities.

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. You will also participate in cross-functional projects, collaborating with other teams to integrate data solutions into broader business initiatives.
