Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in product design with a focus on creating user-centered solutions — your experience includes leading design projects that enhance user experiences for digital products. You are proficient in design tools such as Figma and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every aspect of the design aligns with user needs and business goals.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including product managers and engineers — your ability to communicate design concepts effectively helps bridge the gap between design and development. You are passionate about understanding user behavior and leveraging data to inform design decisions, ensuring that your designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and effective.
What you'll do
As the Lead Product Designer at Tide, you will spearhead the design of innovative commerce experiences that empower SMEs — your role will involve conducting user research to identify pain points and opportunities, translating insights into design solutions that enhance user engagement. You will lead design sprints and workshops, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where ideas can flourish and be transformed into actionable designs.
You will be responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate your vision — your designs will be tested and iterated upon based on user feedback, ensuring that the final product meets the needs of our users. Additionally, you will mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills and contribute to the team.
What we offer
At Tide, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to transforming the small business banking market — we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will work in a supportive environment that values diversity and encourages innovation, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of SMEs.
Join us in our mission to help small businesses thrive — we believe that by providing the right tools and support, we can empower entrepreneurs to focus on what they do best. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
