Who you are

You have 3-4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Audit, with a strong background in financial reporting and the month-end process. Your analytical skills are very good, allowing you to interpret new and complex data effectively. You possess excellent presentation skills, both written and oral, and are fluent in English and German, with professional working proficiency in the latter. Previous experience working for a German entity operating under HGB is considered an advantage, showcasing your familiarity with local regulations and practices.

You thrive in cross-functional teams, participating in various projects that involve multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Your ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively makes you a valuable team member. You are detail-oriented and organized, ensuring that all accounting processes are executed accurately and efficiently.

What you'll do

In this role, you will directly assist the finance function in Germany, managing the overall accounting process for the German broker. You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and timely. Your duties will include overseeing the Accounts Payable function, which involves the receipt and booking of invoices, as well as coordinating with Group finance professionals to maintain smooth operations.

You will liaise with auditors, tax advisors, regulators, and other counterparties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Participation in transfer pricing arrangements between entities within the Group will also be part of your responsibilities, requiring a solid understanding of international accounting practices. You will work closely with the German subsidiary, providing support and guidance to ensure that all financial operations align with the company's objectives.
