You have a visionary mindset with a strong background in security engineering — your experience includes leading security initiatives that protect customer-facing products and internal tools. You understand the balance between rapid innovation and robust security measures, ensuring that security is a built-in feature of everything your team builds.

With a proven track record in architecting security strategies, you have overseen critical pillars such as Product Security and Security Software Engineering. Your expertise includes S-SDLC, Threat Modeling, and Pentesting, as well as Core Authentication and Authorization services, and Encryption Services. You are adept at integrating automated security tooling and 'Security as Code' solutions into development processes.

You thrive in cross-functional environments, acting as a key liaison between Security, Engineering, and Product teams to drive risk remediation and ensure 'Security by Design'. Your leadership style emphasizes team building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams that are passionate about security.

Desirable

Experience with AI-driven technologies and their security implications is a plus, especially in relation to LLM-integrated natural language interfaces. You are familiar with emerging technologies and can architect scalable security frameworks that adapt to new challenges.

What you'll do

As the Director of Product Security Engineering, you will own the overall strategy and roadmap for the Product Security and Security Engineering programs. You will develop and scale a 'shift left' security culture, integrating security practices directly into the development lifecycle. Your role will involve overseeing the design and implementation of highly scalable security frameworks for authentication, authorization, and encryption, ensuring that security measures evolve alongside product innovations.

You will lead initiatives to secure the next generation of products, focusing on the implications of AI-driven workflows and natural language interfaces. Collaborating closely with engineering and product teams, you will drive risk remediation efforts and ensure that security is embedded in the design process from the outset.

Your responsibilities will also include recruiting, mentoring, and managing a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will be instrumental in shaping the security landscape of the organization, ensuring that security is not a bottleneck but a facilitator of rapid development.
