You have a strong background in implementing security strategies that align with rapid innovation, ensuring that security is a built-in feature rather than a bottleneck. Your hands-on experience with S-SDLC automation, including SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA integration, sets you apart as a leader in the field. You are familiar with global compliance standards such as PCI DSS, SOC2, HIPAA, and FedRAMP, and you can effectively communicate complex security risks to executive stakeholders while maintaining technical credibility with engineers.

You thrive in cross-functional environments, acting as a key liaison between security, engineering, and product teams. Your ability to translate security requirements into actionable strategies fosters a culture of 'Security by Design' within the organization. You are passionate about building high-performing teams, mentoring talent, and scaling security functions to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

What you'll do

As the Director of Product Security Engineering, you will own the overall strategy and roadmap for the Product Security and Security Engineering programs. You will develop and scale a 'shift left' security culture by integrating automated security tooling and 'Security as Code' solutions directly into the IDE and CI processes. Your role will involve overseeing the design and implementation of highly scalable security frameworks for authentication, authorization, and encryption, including transitions to Passkeys. You will focus on securing the next generation of products, particularly those that integrate AI-driven natural language interfaces and workflows.

You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to drive risk remediation and ensure that security is seamlessly integrated into the development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include recruiting, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation. You will also be responsible for communicating the security strategy and its implications to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
