You have a strong background in AI operations, with experience in managing complex systems and a deep understanding of MLOps principles. Your expertise in Python allows you to build and optimize AI services effectively, ensuring high performance and reliability across the board. You are comfortable debugging issues at the data and serialization layer, rather than defaulting to prompt tweaks, showcasing your technical depth and problem-solving skills.

You possess a solid understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS, and have hands-on experience with SageMaker for deploying machine learning models. Your familiarity with Terraform enables you to manage infrastructure as code, ensuring that your AI services are scalable and maintainable. You are detail-oriented and prioritize data-layer validation and strict serialization to enhance the reliability of AI outputs.

What you'll do

As a Senior AI Operations Engineer, you will orchestrate a fleet of over 100 specialized AI services, building and owning the runtime environment that supports these services. Your role involves managing model routing, context versioning, and standardized memory/history stores to ensure seamless operation. You will design and implement SageMaker Multi-Model Endpoints (MME) and Inference Components, maximizing hardware utilization while minimizing latency.

You will treat reliability as a layered engineering problem, building deterministic shells around probabilistic language model outputs. This involves implementing automated evaluation and observability patterns to detect semantic drift and hallucinations across the fleet before they impact users. Your work will ensure that every service in the swarm meets a rigorous bar for quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
