Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building tools that enhance developer productivity. Your background includes working with AI technologies and you understand how to integrate them into existing workflows to improve efficiency. You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, and you have experience with machine learning concepts. You are familiar with CI/CD practices and have a solid understanding of version control systems like Git. Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly makes you an effective collaborator in cross-functional teams.
Desirable
Experience with building IDE extensions and automating development processes is a plus. Familiarity with Docker and cloud services will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn new technologies that can further enhance your contributions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop AI Engineering Assistants that assist with code generation, automated refactoring, and documentation. You will work on implementing tools that facilitate a seamless transition from prototype to production-ready code, enabling a one-shot workflow for developers. Your responsibilities will include building extensions for IDEs and automating pull request cycles to ensure high-quality code is consistently produced. You will prioritize determinism in engineering evaluations, driving quality and efficiency in the development process. Collaborating closely with other engineers, you will help shape the future of software development at TripActions by creating innovative solutions that leverage AI technologies.
