You have 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong foundation in both frontend and backend technologies. You are proficient in TypeScript and have hands-on experience with React and React Native, allowing you to build dynamic user interfaces that enhance user engagement. Your backend skills include working with Node.js and GraphQL, enabling you to create robust APIs that support seamless interactions. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside cross-functional teams to implement and iterate on product features that drive user satisfaction. You are passionate about building scalable applications that can handle millions of users, and you understand the importance of balancing technical and business concerns in your decision-making process. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.
Desirable
Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You have a keen interest in personal finance and understand the challenges users face in managing their finances effectively. What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of projects from end to end, making key decisions that impact the implementation of new features. You will work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the frontend and backend components of the application, ensuring that they are optimized for performance and usability. You will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and helping to maintain high coding standards within the team. You will also be involved in debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise in production, ensuring that the application remains reliable and user-friendly. As part of a cross-functional team, you will collaborate with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to drive the product forward and contribute to the overall success of Rocket Money.
