You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in building scalable applications and systems. Your expertise in Python and FastAPI allows you to develop robust backend services that support user-facing applications and internal tools. You are familiar with data pipelines and have experience working with technologies like Kafka and PostgreSQL, which are essential for operationalizing data across the organization. Your knowledge of frontend technologies, especially React and TypeScript, enables you to collaborate effectively with frontend developers and contribute to full-stack projects. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing time between remote work and in-office collaboration. You thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere and are eager to engage with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Desirable

Experience with C# and .NET is a plus, as it complements the existing technology stack. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes will enhance your ability to deploy and manage applications efficiently. What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Rocket Ready team, you will play a pivotal role in developing technology solutions that help clients prepare for homeownership. You will design and implement user-facing web applications and internal tools that improve the efficiency of licensed mortgage bankers and consultants. Your work will involve deep, focused development on greenfield projects, allowing you to leverage your creativity and technical skills to build innovative solutions. You will also collaborate extensively with other teams within the organization, ensuring that the systems you develop integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and participating in architectural discussions to shape the future of the platform. You will be expected to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
