What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer at Trustly, you will own the technical direction of our next-generation consumer product, GoConsumer — your role involves evolving the MVP into a high-quality, scalable application that integrates AI features to help users build healthier financial habits. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to ensure the product meets user needs and market demands.

You will oversee the architecture and design of the application, ensuring it is secure and compliant with industry standards — your responsibilities will include managing data flows and reliability, as well as shipping high-quality features quickly. You will work alongside data scientists and ML engineers to implement AI solutions that enhance the user experience.

You will also play a key role in building and leading an engineering team — as the team grows, you will mentor junior engineers and help them develop their skills while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of the product and the team.
